What even you refer to as "failures" and "mistakes" are neither. They only appear to be, whilst on fact they are part of what has been the policy of this government from day 1 of the pandemic: achieving herd immunity. I could see that throughout, and I'm just a learning support worker at a college, with no political experience. Once they saw that the policy would overwhelm the NHS, they had to pursue it in a sort of stop and star fashion, pretending that their deliberate self-sabotage was just inefficiency for which they could sack someone and put someone else in. It is screamingly obvious, yet I don't hear ANYONE spelling it out. Even you, Carole, speak of incompetence and blunders. Like hell it is. It is a cleverly played daring game, only not playing to our rules or for our benefit. The sooner someone openly says that, the better. If I was a journalist with a voice, I would say it. We need the International community to help not watch. Is this not an abuse of all of our human rights?
